Small, compact, layered collages made from used index cards and exhibition material. Patterson uses the text and markings on the cards as a starting point to create small architectonic forms. Thread Stack is a term used in computer programming where a thread or path of execution is created by the programmer. Each thread has its own stack space that consists of memory contained in the thread but has potential to carry memory of parallel threads in the same program.
